family activities at the resort such as fishing, boating, and swimming.
Our
resort hosts many activities at the beach, gatherings at our lakeside screened
in porch, or perch fishing from the dock. Cruise the shoreline in our 22 ft. deluxe
pontoon or wet a line from our 17ft Lund Outfitter.
Ottertail Lake offers
excellent spring and fall fishing. Countless sunken islands, bars, and reefs offer
prime habitat for walleye, perch and northern pike. |

the street from Otter Tail Beach Resort at Balmoral Golf Course, one of Minnesota's
most challenging 18 hole golf courses. Balmoral is open daily to the public, April
through October. Be sure to ask about our spring and fall golf and lodging discounts.
- A par 3 golf course and driving range is directly north of the 18 hole course,
and within walking distance.
- Four other golf courses are within 25 miles of
OtterTail Beach Resort.
- Horseback riding within a 1/2 mile of the resort.

are located on the southeast shore of Otter Tail Lake in West Central Minnesota.
The resort is 10 miles north of Battle Lake on Minnesota Highway 78, across from
Balmoral Golf Course. Take the Ashby exit off I-94, then Highway 78 north through
Battle Lake, continue north to the resort. - 75 miles from Fargo:
Take Highway 10 East to Perham, MN. Turn South on Highway 78 and continue 15 miles
to the resort.
- 175 miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul: Take I-94 North
to the Ashby exit, then Highway 78 North through Battle Lake, MN continue North
9 miles to the resort.
- 450 miles from Omaha: Take I-29 North to Highway
13 Turn East to Wahpeton, ND. Then Highway 210 East to Battle Lake, MN. Turn North
on Highway78, travel 9 miles to resort.
